Butterfly Arc in Montegrotto Terme, Veneto, Italy

Casa delle Farfalle, Montegrotto Terme, Veneto, Italia

The region offers significant cultural and natural heritage, making it an ideal setting for outdoor activities and environmental education.

The Butterfly Arc functions as both a wildlife sanctuary and an educational center, housing a diverse collection of butterflies, native flora, and rescued animals, including small mammals and reptiles. The facility is dedicated to raising awareness about biodiversity and promoting the protection of fragile ecosystems. A guided tour of the center provides an in-depth exploration of its various habitats.

The Euganean Hills, renowned for their rich cultural and natural heritage, provided an ideal setting for outdoor learning, environmental education, and hands-on engagement with local ecosystems and traditions.

The use of public transportation was a deliberate choice aimed at fostering participants’ independence in navigating the local transit system, boosting their confidence, and encouraging them to explore areas beyond the city center where they usually live.
